C&R Whisperer
I'm a big believer of amassing a good reference library. So I'm always interested when new titles hit the market. Pickings have been slim for Carcano reference material. The best title up to now has been Russ Arendell and Steve Woodrum's Italy's Battle Rifle: Story of the Mannlicher-Carcano Series of Rifles. A full sized 400 pg soft cover book with plenty of black and white photos.
Recently Giovanni Chegia & Alberto Simonelli's reference was translated to English and available up on Amazon for a very reasonable price (I paid $40 plus shipping for mine). It's hard cover with 300 pgs, beautifully illustrated. If you have an interest in Carcanos or even are considering adding one or two to your collection my recommendation is to purchase a copy before hand. Doubt you'd regret it.
