I submitted my form 4 individual which arrived at the new Portland processing center last Monday and the check was cleared last Thursday. Just in 4 days. At Atlanta this process took almost a month. This got me thinking that perhaps most of the forms being processed at Atlanta are not being transferred to Portland and there are no backlogs in the Portland site
Do you think this is my wishful thinking? Do any of you have any inside information?

If this is true I am buying additional NFA items as soon as possible.

Found this statement in the ATF site, “This change reflects a shift by ATF of its banking from Bank of America in Atlanta to U.S. Bank in Portland, Oregon. “. Is that mean the rest of the processing is done by the same group of people?.. Disappointing!
