And the m&p? That was another consideration

I had both the full size and compact versions. Both garbage compared to the Ruger. In fact, I do not believe that the M&P is even made my S&W (pretty sure it is made by Walther).

The SR22 is the most reliable gun in its class. It literally eats anything/everything you feed it. End your search now and order a SR22. You will not be disappointed.

Sig Mosquito owner here as well, and have the same negative experiences posted while shooting it with anything other than CCI Mini-Mags. Obviously wouldn't recommend buying one unless you wanted to consistently practice malfunctions.

Based on your screen name, I'm assuming you have a Sig or two. If any are of their P-series line, you might want to consider a .22LR Conversion Kit. Have one each for my P228 and P226 and both have been flawless shooting bulk .22 I've shot through them so far.

Two days ago, Sig had these kits on sale for $180, and do so periodically.

I guess I have to be the contrary one (imagine that). I would highly recommend the Ruger 22/45 over either of these 2 pistols. Mine have shot any ammo I've fed them. They are more accurate than most shooters too. The 22/45 Lite is a great pistol to start out, for the little ones.

Good luck no matter which you decide to purchase.

    Another thing.

I don't know about other people's SIG Mosquito pistols, but the one I bought was DRY.

I started by cleaning and properly lubing.

On mine, I am getting FTEs. Maybe it is short stroking, but it is strange.

    Dry and short stroking..... :innocent0

    And failing to eject.....

This place is becoming a bad influence on this good Christian boy.
