Awesome! Occasionally I've seen folk on the GB Japanese forum manage to find the original scope. But I would have done exactly what you did. Lord knows how long it would take to find the original, assuming it even still exists. Patience and diligence don't always work if you're trying to find something that doesn't exist. Besides, if you are lucky enough to find it you can always sell this scope rig in a heartbeat, they're in such demand.
