The bottom one has been issued but the one up from that one is one of the the unissued ones that Samco was selling a few years ago. I picked it up from a member here at the Frederick gun show. That rifle is freaking beautiful

    You sure they was unissued?

I always git suspicious when anyone makes that claim about that old of a rifle. It smells too much like Mitchell's Mausers.

K31 prices sure have gotten stupid. I inquired about a Walnut K31 that someone was asking $550 for. I was thinking that maybe it was one of the unissued Samco Walnuts. Nope. Just regular K31 with beaver chewed stock and some wear on the finish. O_o

Any K31 for that price is a steal. However, does your $180 yard sale find look like one of these?

Here's my minty M1882 Ordnance Revolver that I picked up a little over a year ago. Manufactured in 1891 but it looks and feels like it was made yesterday. I have an original holster that came with it also.

I have a box of Fiocchi 7.5 Swiss Ord. ammo and reloading dies, but I can't bring myself to shoot it. I honestly think this is the most finely crafted military revolver ever made (at least of the ones I've seen).

Can't say I am too familiar with that. Is it basically a Swiss spin on a Nagant pistol? That is extremely cool and beautiful

Gotta love any Swiss firearm. All those that I've owned and lusted after were built to a higher standard. Don't care if it's a P210, Luger, 1882 revolver, PE57 or member of the SR family. They consistently amaze me.

The first decent snow this winter, so I decided to photograph some of my K31's with some Swiss surplus gear.

p.s. Bringing the thread back from the dead.

Nice! I was torn between my Swiss M70 field jacket (with hood and alpenflage veil) or my Norwegian M75 when choosing a jacket for shoveling today. Norwegian won out as it's longer and has a nice button-up gorget-style collar.
