1" Extension for my can??

HELP! I got this new stock but the can won't attach. I need a 1" extension. Is there such a thing for 1/2 X 28?

Why not inlet the stock? You could do it with a router and a jig so it looks nice.

OBTW - This is a FAB defense stock and it is REALLY NICE. Recommended.

get a Dremmel and a sanding drum attachment and clearance that stock enough to allow that can to screw on.

This is an EASY fix. Maybe 10 minutes work

I think you're going to find almost everyone is going to suggest you modify the stock. Seems like the easiest way to fix the issue.

Before you cut anything, contact The Riddle Of Steel https://trosusa.com/ . They make adaptors in just about any thread pitch; I'd see how much they would want for what you need.

Another vote for inletting your stock. It's the simplest option and the cheapest option. Additionally, adding extensions just introduces more mechanisms for failure (baffle strike) and (IMO) look chintzy.

Glad it worked out for you. I didn't think such a thing existed and would worry about baffle strikes also. Nice when things go your way!

If you are able, run a bore gauge through the whole setup to verify concentrisity.

I would hope that because it is such a short extension, it wouldn't make a huge difference. I am more worried about my own situation, potentially trying to daisy-chain together two of these extensious to make up about a 1.25 inch gap.
