I agree with the online psychoanalysis that it sounds like you just really want a 6.5. Nothing wrong with that at all. I'll also extend that sentiment of reading between the lines to say that you just don't like the rifle you have right now. You may not even be consciously aware of this...but if you had anything more than tepid feelings for it, there wouldn't be so much dust on it. Nothing wrong with that either. We can't love them all, all the time. I think you should plan on buying an all new (to you, at least) 6.5 and be happy with a clean slate.
