Picked up a stainless 700ml that I'm going to build up over the winter. Already have a choate tactical stock. From there it needs a new barrel, recoil lug, breech plug and a 209 bolt conversion. For glass the plan is to run the leupold firedot 4-12 off of the sml encore.

Lax, got your pm. That's a shooter for sure. It's pretty amazing how they shoot. The only thing I would change on mine would be add a brake but other then that I'm leaving it. Did you happen to get any speeds on that load?

Nope I don't own a chrono. The break does make a pretty big difference but I wouldn't want to be shooting next to a guy shooting one. It was blowing the vials and funnel off of the bench.

Ive got a SS 700 ML that I was going to work on.

Ended up getting a CVA Wolf which shoots just fine. I love the finger tight breech and the break action.

The fit and finish of the 700 is unmatched in my opinion.
