We are a large truck leasing company in search of a Service Dispatch Manager. The Service Dispatch Manager is responsible for all operations pertaining to scheduled routine maintenance and emergency break down assistance to all lease and rental customers. The Service Dispatch Manager uses multiple operations reports, communications skills and resourcefulness to provide superior customer service, calculated and effective management of employees, and efficient and ethical business practices to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to: Opening and closing the building at the start and end of each business day. Conducting and taking part in daily department meetings. Communication with customers for any and all needs pertaining to vehicle performance, maintenance, current and future usage and needs of the fleet, and overall customer service responsibilities. Developing and executing strategies with management and mobile service technicians to provide exceptional routine maintenance and repairs for a growing fleet of light, medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles. Supervising a team of mobile service technicians Scheduling requirements and payroll input of all mobile service technicians. Dispatching mobile service technicians or vendors to vehicles that are broken down and in need of repair. Processing hand written and electronic documents pertaining to the mobile maintenance and repair division. Knowledge and usage of rental department operations to provide customers with substitute or rental vehicles if needed. Never ending pursuit of knowledge and ethical business practices regarding fleet maintenance and technology training.
