Is it not already a requirement to put guns in a safe after hours? I'm actually surprised if so.

I doubt really know one way or the other. Common sense would say some sort of safe would be required. But then that is way we have laws, in most cases do to lack of common sense.

Would ATF get involved and yank their FFL? The frequency of break ins would raise my eyebrow....

So they haven't learned from past mistakes:sad20:
Easy fodder for the antis, and I can't say I wholeheartedly disagree.

Maybe the 3rd time is a charm and they'll finally figure something out.

I know a few people that work there but I don't care for the owner at all.

Would they be required to report the S/Ns to ATF or just local PD? I would think ATF would have a come to Jesus talk after the 2nd break in.

Perps broke a hole in block wall, in the rear most likely. Heard they left a bunch of stuff on the ground out back, probably in a hurry to leave. They backed a truck through the front door one of the other times.

    Q

While it would be common sense to secure firearms having it be a requirement and feds pulling FFL for breakins could be the next easiest way for the government and antis to close gun shops.
It’s not like the tackle box leaves the door open and the welcome mat out.
Where there is a will there is a way. Determined individuals can be very creative.

    There’s no stopping determined criminals

Breaking block walls down, ripping doors off, didn’t some crooks cut the roof in at Fred’s and came down tv style?

The crooks could just steal the whole safe if they wanted to

Waldorf closed a cpl yrs before CP .

At one point they lost their Regulated Weapons Dealer Lic , and within about a yr after that , proved not viable with only an FFL .

Bob is still occasionally seen with a table at gun shows .

    Q
Yes, FFLa required to file stolen gun report and needed to balance FFL's acquisition and disposition "blue" books.
