Heavy Seas is the Brewery's name now. It used to be Clipper City

The Beer is "MarzHon" sorry to confuse

The Brewery and Taproom are in Halethorpe.

I do love a good pun. I am adding it to my "must try" list.

Has anyone seen if Guinness has any good seasonals lately? I haven't been in a while.

Heavy Seas has stopped making several of their older beers. I haven't seen Ameri Cannon or the Marzhon in months.

Here's their current "on Tap" selection. They have focused mainly on producing variants their popular Loose Cannon IPA.

I've had good experiences at Das Bierhalle at Harford and Joppa (used to be the Barn). The draft selection is decent, food is good. Fun place.

Also, for the true beer nerd, Max's on Broadway is where it's at.

I haven't been to Max's in a few years. Such a great selection!

Seconded heartily! Where else can you get such good Bavarian beer and food! If in the neighborhood, though, I'll sometimes hit Hofbrauhaus in Abbottstown, PA.

Ditto.. I'm roughly 2 minutes from Old Stein. Plus, they have Spaten Octoberfest on tap year around and that is one of my favorites.

Another Great German Beer is Shiner from Texas. All of there beers are smooth and very tasty but especially their Oktoberfest and Bock Beers.

Another great reason to visit Fredericksburg, Texas but if you can't you can still take their brewery tour.

When stationed in Texas, I got a lot of good, fresh Shiner, which is definitely the best way to have it. I never made it to the brewery, but if I ever find myself in or around Austin again, I'll head that way.
