    Unless the X is a SAO with a cocked/locked design, I would rather have the slide mounted safety. I'm probably in the minority, but makes a high grip more comfortable, sweeping "forward" to verify it is off is easier than sweeping down, stays out of the way for most things, but makes the slide a little easier to grab. Would rather ditch the safety entirely in favor of a LEM type mode, basically all the light pull(granted at the end of a long 1st stage / short rest of a SAO, but no safety to mess with, and no DQ for dumping a pistol off of safe.

    I was going to say that it's about time Beretta learned from Taurus where to put the safety :D

    I guess now I'll finally buy a Beretta :shrug:

    Got a pic rail... yuck... plus black controls and black barrel.

    My Taurus is sexier.
