I'm having trouble viewing the roster........is the COP Derringer on the MD Roster? I might have an option to obtain one.

It may not need to be. Check the manufacture date. I bet that thing hurts to shoot.

What date would predate the roster?

Handguns produced after 1 January 1985 have to be on the roster, so any handgun manufactured pre-1985 does not.

Although it may not have to be on the state roster, the COP may soon be banned under a bill that would outlaw imitation handguns. If passed, all those guns that look real but don't shoot would be banned. And many COP guns don't shoot! Click! Click! Bang! Click!
They were purty, though. And if you did manage to get it to fire, there's an outstanding chance you wouldn't hit the target (much less the X-ring)!
