At Continental in Timonium. Gonna try the H&K USP, Sig equivalent (whatever that is), and an XDM. My goal, buy one. Any other recommendations?

Glock 22/23. There's a reason so many of us cops get issued them and then buy them for our own use.

Yes, this is because Glock dumps HUGE dollars into schmoozing their way into departments across the land. (this is true)
...and then buy them for our own use.
For fear of the unknown and not wanting to try to transition from a Glock to a normal grip angle. :D

    CZ: 75B, P-06 or SP-01.

Because you dont get the metal taste when using it to hold the donuts:D

I have the H&K USP and the Sig 229, i prefer the H&K between them , but i havent had the opportunity to shoot a glock yet

Glock, sig P226, Springfield XD, or Smith and Wesson M and P.

Go with what feels most comfortable to you, understanding that Glock and Sig (Glock more so than Sig) will have the best aftermarket and parts support.
It has to work well for you. If I didn't have an appointment to take my 2 kids fishing tomorrow, I'd stop by and let you shoot both my Glock 22 and Sig P226

    Happy to be Here
I love the the CZ P 06. CZ's need a cool thing like Signess or Glockaholic, because this pistol gave it to me. Hard to find one to rent at the range, but any CZ will leave you more than satisfied.

The FNP .40 is a great pistol too. It's not really my favorite but my girl loves it.

P.S If your looking .40, try out a .45 too.

It's cheaper than developing a Signess.

Well yeah, there is that. Easier to clean jelly out of the barrel too.
    good stuff:thumbsup:

    to the OP
Also some mentioned XD's and XDm's, both good guns, i also have a XD9 i like alot. Best thing is to go somewhere when you can try a few of them, ON target in Ft Meade rents guns, and might have some that you are thinking about.
