    Yes. Only 223/556 rifles must have an hbar. Any other caliber or pistol and it is okay.

    It’s a pistol so it falls under Hql. Lower receiver requirement.

    11.5” carbine with a 2” can on a 12” handguard. In FDE with a brace sorta thing.

    Thanks for the fast responses. I've also been kicking around the idea of building a rifle with a featureless stock and an M4 profile barrel. Since my purpose for this would be more in the realm of precision marksmanship, I wouldn't miss the pistol grip.

    Featureless or not, it has to have an HBAR barrel. HBARs are better for precision anyway. Don’t build featureless if you don’t have to - we’re not CA or NY... yet.

    We'll be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past CA and NY by this October.

    They're going for a total ban on semiauto rifles, even .22's.
