    I was team captain for the USA at the 27th World Muzzle-Loading Championships in Sarlospuzta, Hungary. Good trip. The USA did OK. considering our limited finances - the prize money paid to a German gold medalist is nearly our entire annual budget.

    We're not sure. The schedule looks like this:
    2018: Eisenstaedt, Austria
    2021: Pforzheim, Germany (may be moved to 2020)
    2022: Buenos Aires, Argentina

    2024 is TBD, but Europe is most likely. I'd love to host in 2026, if we can find a venue.

    Yes. Balzas was running the whole show, he's in charge of the Hungarian team...I have no idea when he slept. Great guy.

    Oh, FWIW, a member of Sanners Lake Sportsman Club here in Maryland won the musket. And we raised nearly $3,000 for the USIMLT.
