Finally got around to test-firing the 450. First few rounds went w/out a hitch. Recoil isn't bad, a bit sharper than my 50Beo, but not bad.

Still need to figure out optics, low power variable or other - but no rush there.

My recent build. Upper assembly I put together from a barrel I got free from a friend that bailed on doing one himself.

I did verify on he website it is advertised as HBAR

Finally started my AR 15 collecting. Sorry, stockpiling.
Mine: PSA in ODG built from a complete lower and upper.
Vokul 4-12 x 50 scope w reflex red dot and side mounted laser

My sons M&P 15-22 in Kryptek Highlander Camo we bought him for his 11th birthday
    Survival land reflex sight

I love plinking with his 22 almost as much as he does. Great little practice rifle.

Mine is a combo home defense/ target shooting rifle. Going to break down the sights based on use. Too heavy to lug the scope around in a home defense situation. Just take it off after target shooting.

If you want to do home defense and target/plinking rifle, might I suggest a red dot with a magnified or a 1-6x scope? Less weight and you don't have to worry about your zero being off, due to swapping out components, depending on what you are doing.

Sub $400 pile of parts pistol build... Lopped 4 1/2" off my banned carbine barrel and threaded it. Upper receiver came from Rockethub for $20 a couple years ago. 80% lower for $60. PSA lower build kit with brace for $150. Ambi safety for $11, gas tube and block for $15. FAB grip for $34 and the 12" hand guard / krink style muzzle break was $50. Some flavor iron sights from Ali and a decent charging handle coming too.

Cut and threaded the barrel on a manual lathe. That was pretty cool getting a good fit. Curious to see how accurate it is.

Bought one...Built one. Time to add an SBR---
Pretty nice rigs. Digging the Daniel Defense furniture too, becoming my favorite recently as well. Can’t quite tell from the pic, but what brake/hider is that on the bottom one? Kinda looks like the one on my SCAR16, but not quite(??).

Then one or two more won't hurt a bit, will it?

My first ever SOTAR build. This is the finished results of winning the veteran's karma way back in December. Attending a SOTAR build class has been something I've really wanted to do since joining MDS a couple of years ago.

Special thanks to Ifdot, Outrider58 and Rouchna for their assistance. I'm looking forward to taking it to the range!

    That didn't take long, Lol!
