Now that's something special... the lanyard itself is a tough thing to find, toss in the rest of it and SCWHING
Picked up a few new things, really havent been on here much. I have a few more in the works .
Very nice. What is the last rifle, the one on the stand?
Now I one each of the 4. It would have been nice to get a GI stock. but happy as heck with the M/T readings and LMR barrel. The hardcase is just your run of mill oversize rifle case, no CMP markings. Got an email a couple weeks after submitting order package requesting a notarized 2a form. Sent it middle of last week. Got a DBU email yesterday and then a tracking Fedex tracking number same day. Fedex put it in my hands at lunchtime...

Very nice! The Delta show is always worth a look.Got this last weekend at the Delta PA Show: An Inland M1 Carbine with a Blue Sky importer stamp and Korean Refurb.
I finally settled up with my brother. Traded him a nice Swiss K11 (former M1889/1900 short rifle).
From the Pohjois Kymenlaakso District. This thing is an awesome shooter, and it appears to have a history ...
I have a Krag like that, not sure if its embellishment, deer, or ............
Picked up a nice SC 1903A3 FJA refurb yesterday. That's it for a while.
Whatever they represent, they are old. The patina (I hate that word) in the notches matches the rest of the wood.
Agreed, i just scrolling and the wife seen the pic and asked what the notches were, i said kills of some sort most likely and they were done years ago and aged with the rest of the wood. Nice rifle and a civil guard by the looks of it.
Vic’s text to me:
“Looks like that guy was a frontier guardsmen and was keeping count.”
