Finally finished this build. Photo attached.
Spent a long time waiting on parts, especially since the lower I received was messed up (jagged edges around the extension tube ring). It took Aero forever to replace it. So long... that I filled out the MD collector paperwork and completed the purchase of a second lower while I waited.
I wound up going with the RRA barrel. Had a lot of fun removing/replacing the FSB to accommodate the handguards.
I went off my parts list and spent a little more on some parts -mostly the upper+handguards, and the stock.
I actually purchased an A2 stock, but I thought the Magpul just looked better with the handguards.
I knew it was going to be heavy...but 9.4 lbs (unloaded), was heavier than I expected.
Also, I wound up with so many extra parts that it only makes sense to build another.
