The meeting is schedule for 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17 at Anne Arundel Community College in room 100 of the CALT Building.

Up to 40 attendees will be able to speak for a maximum of three minutes each. Attendees may register to speak starting 30 minutes before the meeting begins and will be first-come, first-serve.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Personally, I'd love to see every AA County resident reading this, or everyone who works or travels in the County, to come and address the task force. Possible topics include lack of representation of hunters, gun owners, and collectors on the board, the fact that if suicides and gang related shootings account for over 80% of 'gun violence', why target lawful gun owners, the lack of involvement of the board members, etc.
I do not want a parade of Mommies begging that we do something for the children.

Lunchtime bump for tonight’s major PUBLIC COMMENT meeting from 6 - 8 PM at AA Community College.

See posts #723 and #725 above for more info. about being a speaker tonight to help the TF to get their minds right: guns don’t commit violence.

Describe your role as a law-biding gun owner, or as a citizen concerned the TF seems politically biased toward making political — not policy— recommendations.

Describe for them how and why we are the community which teaches safe firearm handling and use, advances firearm education and training and wants the violence committed by nolle prossed MD criminals and the untreated mentally ill in this State to be addressed by the TF instead.

You've asked for this; here’s the opportunity.

(For reference, the last time the AACo Task Farce met on the AACC campus it was in the Pascal Center, flagged below on the map in red.)
