The Hogue stock will flex while shooting off the bipod no matter what you do.

Alrighty then, not free floating it then, I will wait to purchase another stock all together. Thanks.

So, How is that Eliseo shooting for you Jon? Finally shot mine at Ft Meade a couple weeks ago. With switching winds at 600yds., it was almost like legalized cheating. LOL

Its stupid incredible! Just dropped 30.5 gns of varget under 107smk and used false shoulder and its one hole all day. I only had it out to 600 for getting a zero but was pretty small groups and comfortable too. Still learning the bolt for rapids but hasn't been too bad. Shooting fclass 3x600 at forthill this weekend I hope so anyway, we will see how it does or how I do. Missed last match and the clinic..so I gotta make this one.

I agree feels like cheating! Its Josh by the way

Sorry Josh, my buddy Jon must have been thinking of me when I typed that. Is the 3x600 on Saturday? I'm shooting a team match on Sunday.

Nice work with the bedding! I've done one bedding job - what a tedious, messy job. Not one of my favorites. Which bedding material did you go with?

Good idea with the base and ring upgrade.

    How does it shoot?

Thanks you sir. I used Devcon, it is definitely a messy/stressful job. I just wanted to make sure the action would come back out after it cured :lol2:. I plan on sighting it in this weekend, hopefully she shoots well. I had to upgrade the base because I coulden't get the scope back far enough with the standard bases for proper eye relief.

this was only about 60 yards, I was just shooting crappy ammo to sight it in and get it on paper. I will zero it soon at 200 yards with better ammo.

    here are 6 shots tho....

Some of my most frequent shooters. From back to front

Savage 10-FP/SR in .308, BC Medalist stock, Bedded in Devcon, Spikes Dynacomp, Viper PST. This one is my favorite. Super accurate and tons of fun to shoot.

Savage 110 in 300 Win Mag, HS Precision stock, bedded in Devcon, Regular Viper Optics and should have the PST on it this week.

Remington 5-R Milspec .308, Duracoat by me, Cheapie Millett scope, but it's shooting pretty good right now. I'll have new glass for it before too long. Action and Trigger work done by Doc Ed.

Remington VTR .308,BC Adjustable Medalist, Another cheapie millett which is due to be replaced with a PST this week as well. This thing is really accurate. More accurate than the 5-R.

Vanilla Remington 700 SPS in .223 with a Nikon Buckmaster scope. Shoots good, this is my centerfire plinker.

    Remington 700 ADL in .308

Yeah, I know, a cheap Dick's Sporting Goods Remington ADL heavy barrel. But's it's my toe in the water coming from Mosins. Eventually I'll get around to getting it dialed in, a better stock, and some better glass. But hey, I'm just happy to put holes in paper.
