When the Demanding Mom's start a conversation with you by saying "My Father/Uncle had a gun and......"

Be sure to reply "My Mom had guns and taught me to love shooting......."

That’s a very good idea. The blonde MDA MD rep. Liz starts her spiel off real folksy, “Dad had guns, named my sister after his favorite gunsmith.”

My grandmother still has guns. Never falls asleep without a pistol in arms reach.

Notice the reps always stop short of why grandma falls asleep with a pistol within arms reach. Does she live where police response times are measured in hours? Does she know that a handgun lets 100 pound grandma take on a 200 pound robber?

If they explained that, it would make pushing for bills to create a financial and time based barrier to gun ownership much harder to make agreeable to the average person.

No. I was literally talking about my grandmother.

It appears the totally unbiased and non-partisan task force might actually be completely biased and partisan.

I, for one, am shocked that our upright Democrat overlord Pittman would do such a thing.

Haven't ya heard? People are leaving high tax states like California, New York and New Jersey due to the GOP tax cuts. That means they are going to bring their anti-liberty politics to a different state and neighborhood thereby spreading the sickness! We have enough of that sickness in Maryland, so they'll likely steer clear of us.
