    Hi Folks,

    New member here. Thanks for the site and all the quality posts and answers. I'm new to MD and have a Federal law enforcement, investigations, and military background. I was in California for a few years and now that I'm back East, I'm attempting to rebuild my firearm collection. I've learned a lot by perusing the site and hope to contribute once I get up to speed on MD regulations.

    Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I've taken a look at the forum rules and other information about the site, as well as visited the Maryland Shall Issue site, and I'm looking forward to adding value to the site and cause. As some have alluded to, the firearms climate in Maryland is surprisingly more encouraging than I thought it would be, coming from California. I recognize that it's what it is through the efforts of decent folks such as yourselves. Thank you.

    Oh, and I'm in Montgomery county BTW.

    Just saw the video, Dave MP. I laughed and hoped I'm not "one those guys" with my AR build question. I truly searched the site before asking the question, I just couldn't find anything about "registration". Good stuff...thanks.
