Did this guy ever contact the NRA Range Development? They can provide a lot of techinically support and industry contacts, especially for networking the other aspects of range ownership.

It would be nice to have a closer range facilty on par with the NRA Range but without the bells and whistles offered at Silver Eagle Group in Ashburn.

I'm not sure about them asking for Donations rather then pre-selling memberships. Maybe if they provided a Voucher for a donation amount that could be applied to a membership when they open.

I have been hearing about this place for quit sometime now , It would be great to see it happen.

I'm still stuck on the idea that they are going to build a shoothouse available to the public? Something about that just doesn't seem right to me...

I remember reading this when it was fresh. Then nothing. Well all know that Free State has opened since this was posted.

The guy who said he was the website's owner, "Chase", has posted as recently as September 2011.

I guess the money never materialized or they couldn't get the permits.

Prices are high, even excluding the "executive level".

On Target family membership is something like $225 and it's free unlimited range time.

The firearms storage thing is a great idea however. I've often wished that some places that I frequent would do this. How cool would it be for me to store my trap gun at PGC and be able to drive over there from work when I'm less than a mile away? Much better than driving 45 minutes home and then 45 minutes back.

Just curious. Whay can't you leave your trap gun in the car while you are at work? A pistol I can understand, but a shotgun? Is it because you park on school property?
