Friends, Romans, Countrymen, send me your haikus.

Today marks the beginning of the annual firearm haiku season and Engage Armament would like to celebrate this momentous holiday as we do every year by offering a free suppressor to the winner of Haiku Uno Ocho. This season, it is an AAC Ti-Rant 45.

    The rules are as follows:

-Submit one traditional haiku in 5/7/5 format. Only one entry per person. If someones wife submits a haiku, she better be getting the can. No straw haikus for multiple entries.
-Post your haiku here or email it to me at andy@engagearmament.com
-If emailing your haiku, please put HAIKU in the subject line and I will confirm receipt. While we will accept emailed submissions, it will be more fun to post them here and comment so thats encouraged.
-ALL HAIKUS MUST CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING THEMES: NFA, Suppressors, and/or Engage Armament LLC.
-Upon closure of the competition, all haikus will then be put into a spread sheet and then passed around the employees of Engage. We will then judge them and rate our top 3. The one with the most votes in the top 3 will be the winner.
-I will come up with another two prizes for runner ups. I have not determined what they will be. It won't be a can or anything like that, but it will be cool. I will update as I come up with the runner up gifts. They may involve touching.
-In the event of a tie each haiku will be printed on its own piece of a paper and a small treat will be placed upon it. Whichever haiku Brutus goes to first will be considered the winner.
-If you live in MD we will do the transfer to you on a form 4 with no fees. If you are outside the state or live far away we can transfer on a form 3 to your local dealer. You are responsible for all shipping, and transfer fees from other dealers, fingerprints, passport photos, as well as the $200 transfer tax.
-Haiku Uno Ocho will close 17 February 2018AD at close of business (6pm EST).
-We will post the winner here the night of 17 Feb assuming there is no tie.
-Garrett and Bae have asked that I inform all of you that according to their 23andMe they are .01% Japanese, and will be watching all submissions with great interest.

Take your time and compose something really good. Previous winner was:

    Flashless is her eye
    Harken the angel's whisper
    Cold is her last kiss

Good luck, and Godspeed my fellow samurai.

An oldie but I'll throw it in there:

    Like cherry blossoms in Spring

Ban hammer falls and makes all better

The tears of trolls are sweet

    That fart was too loud
    Gave away my position
    Damn expensive stamp

    Just for fun

    Know what needs being suppressed?

    Can I resubmit this one?

    Silent but deadly
    Not using suppressor, I
    What is that wetness?

    * I don't want the supressor, I just wanted to post my haiku again.
