    The ar-15 is the national service rifle. Any citizen who desires should be able to own,operate,maintain and become a marksman with the national service rifle.

    You know, that is the way we should start presenting the AR15 to the anti-2nd Amendment folks. And drum it into them on a non-stop, continuing basis.

    And as an aside, the NRA needs to start advertisements of gun safety and training; which is part of the bylaws. This would be a good strategy on their part to derail the 2nd Amendment Anti's with their hateful misconceptions of us (murdering organization). :rolleyes:

    Mission Statement

    NRA Bylaws Article II

    The purposes and objectives of the National Rifle Association of America are:

    1. To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,
    especially with reference to the inalienable right of the individual
    American citizen guaranteed by such Constitution to acquire, possess,
    collect, exhibit, transport, carry, transfer ownership of, and enjoy the
    right to use arms, in order that the people may always be in a position
    to exercise their legitimate individual rights of self-preservation and
    defense of family, person, and property, as well as to serve
    effectively in the appropriate militia for the common defense of the
    Republic and the individual liberty of its citizens;

    2. To promote public safety, law and order, and the national defense;

    3. To train members of law enforcement agencies, the armed forces,
    the militia, and people of good repute in marksmanship and in the safe
    handling and efficient use of small arms;

    4. To foster and
    promote the shooting sports, including the advancement of amateur
    competitions in marksmanship at the local, state, regional, national,
    and international levels;

    5. To promote hunter safety, and to
    promote and defend hunting as a shooting sport and as a viable and
    necessary method of fostering the propagation, growth and conservation,
    and wise use of our renewable wildlife resources.

    The Association may take all actions necessary and proper in the furtherance of these purposes and objectives.

    ARs Banned?

    I think we have now signed up for some sort of commie-right-left-center-winged-liberal-conservative-plot-conspiracy-"moon landing never happened"-"big foot is real"-"fake news is real unless it's my fake news" spamming website. Good luck with any of us ever being able to un-subscribe. BTW, I voted to keep AR-15s legal, otherwise the government would have to make every other brand, model, style of semi-auto rife AND pistol illegal as well. Or is this just the first step (today) in that action.
    *Whew*
    I need a beer. Happy pre-Memorial day everyone. Please remember to thank those that have served and those that are serving. And of course remember those that have fallen defending this wonderful country of ours. The bill is not cheap, and the fallen have paid the most.
    Good day.

    Seriously, this poll has about as much import as a "Yanny or Laurel" poll.

    Who's doing the poll?
    Why are they doing it?
    What will it be used for?

    I don't see anything of the like. Why post a claim like that without evidence? they appear to be a sober conservative site.

    Please post a link to your assertion that the website in question has "big foot is real', "moon landing never happened" etc stories. It appears to be partisan conservative, just like there are thousands of partisan left sites

    Sorry rascal..

    Most of my post was meant in jest. Just blindly following a posted link can lead to all sorts of trouble on the web.
    Oh look! Bambi!
