Is there anywhere to shoot around hopeville?

My wife and I are heading down to Harman's cabins next weekend for a belated honeymoon type thing and we would like to shoot if we can. I've camped in the area a couple times near spruce knob but it seems like any public ranges I have found are pretty far.

Going to be lots of backpackers in the public areas/trails, though.

I don't know of any actual "ranges," most of the natives shoot on their own land. My family has a few hundred acres of farm a little north and east of Harmons, we're always shooting and so is everyone else.

Heck, the ride out there is good.

Not sure how you're going but I stay on 340 into VA and pick up 55 back into WV to Wardensville through backroads. Usually avoid 81
