Lots of speak here is banter and tongue & cheek , lots or all the men that made mockery would risk their lives saving a woman from such attacks ,so when we make do it it is not meant in the way you had taken it .

With the other side the anti's don't make it easy to not do such mockery when they want us defenseless and subjected to death or injury because they want to take our right to defend our families .

It makes no sense a woman that has suffered rape or a brutal assault would not want to defend herself from another attack .
    I just don't get it .

also I am not a respected member here so I am game ..:innocent0;)

You're mistaken if you think you're not respected, brother. Nothing could be further from the truth.

And regarding the bold above, what's worse is any candidate who is opposed to self defense through any means necessary is not only making it harder to defend herself (which is her right), but by extension her anti-gun policies will continue to deny that right to every other woman who might have been able to prevent it in the future. That is inexcusable.

The current licensing scheme in Marylandistan is proof that the powers that be think it is preferable for innocent citizens to be victims of otherwise preventable violent crime, women to be raped, and defenseless law abiding people to be murdered without the means of a concealed carry permit so they could defend themselves.

Anybody who supports that policy is deserving of our contempt.

Anyone else have a problem with the fact that they are basically holding an anti-2A campaign event at a public police station?

I was kidding on the last part ED just my attempt at being funny in a weird way .
I place women on a pedestal , and would help one in trouble but I have always been told that God helps those that help themselves .

Women have a choice in this world be a victim or not , make it a point to be the one that puts down (kill) a man that would rape them .
I don't get the victim thing , be part of a solution . Kill a bastard that would invade your body without your permission .

    Yes.

Wondering if the AACo PD would offer up their day room for the next PP quarterly meeting? (we don't actually have quarterly meetings but you get the point)

I wasn't aware she was running for office, but I disagree that it opens her up for mockery. I understand you are a respected member here and don't wish to get into a back and forth with you, but I wholeheartedly disagree with your representation.

I recently had a chance to hear Oliver North speak. He spoke of his experiences as a Marine and how that shaped his life and influenced his ideology. This young lady had an experience that shaped her life. She is running and trying to effect change based upon that experience. Whether we agree with her efforts or not (and I doubt we do), it's a poor reflection of the 2a crowd (especially on an open forum) to mock her about being a dv/rape victim.

Reflecting on your posts, I have edited my first response to you to remove a pompous reaction from me. You didn’t deserve it and I apologize.

Still, I remain convinced that projecting “victim” status as the top line on her political resume is a disservice to the process. She can be commended for seeking public office, but she shortchanges voters by not leading with thoughtful or responsive positions and policies.

And as noted earlier, she admitted to the deceit of staging a policy discussion on firearms and knuckling under to pressure to EXCLUDE guest speakers who advocate for respect for a civil right to own firearms.

She deserves derision for her deceit. However, I acknowledge that frustration for her self-serving ways pushed criticism away from where it should be focused.

Yes. Would it be available for, e.g. MSI quarterly meetings?

Indeed. Imagine the reaction if we had a Republican candidate there discussing nothing other than than the pro 2A position.
Liberals would losing their effing minds about how that is inappropriate, blah, blah, blah.

    Yeppers ...

Stu... I don't know you very well... but I thought I knew you well enough that I wouldn't see boogeyman stuff being posted from you... ease up with the BGOS... I'll be sure to let you(everyone) know the first time LE hits me up on why I am carrying... open...

The boogieman is a boogiewoman ...

No boogeyman here. Just letting folks know what’s in store for them if they “legally” OC.

Legal to OC a long gun yet no one does it except Mike Smigiel in a staged video.

Just sayin’ it’s legal but expect the police attention you get with the possible resulting expense and hassle

    BGOS?

Nope. Just pointing out the possibilities.

And now that any MDA / Gladys Kravits-type can drop a dime under the cover of a red flag bill, you can almost bet on it.

Hey brother, I truly appreciate you taking the time to think about my words. While I'm young here, I've read a lot of your posts and seen evidence of a lot of your actions. You are a vocal and respected voice in the fight. I don't want the message lost in hateful attack posts that alienate the "undecided", that's all!!!

I agree with everything you've written in this post. I don't like her politics, but I have to remember that she is as passionate about her ideas as we are about ours. I am 100% on board with attacking the ideas and pointing out the massive flaws with the common "sense".

    Everyone stay safe, God bless!!!

I know Karen Simpson and her husband as I belong to the church where he is our pastor. As people go they are very good but the liberalness that has been exposed since Donald Trump has become our President has caused me to pretty much stop attending. Every time I have tried to offer a counter point based on facts, on guns and immigration along with other topics, I usually get a rabid response and Karen excluding 2A people from her event on purpose just adds to my dislike of her political aspirations. If I was in her district she would not get my vote, not that she has much of a chance with her views in that district.

Serious question, is her current husband the one who beat her?

This is the organizer, Karen Simpson, who calls herself a survivor of domestic violence designed to kill her, and a rape victim by way of being drugged.

Hmm, I'll bet the "rapist" was the one who was drugged... Oxycontin, Rohypnol and double doses of Viagra and Cialis. =)

And what a treat… Maryland Attorney General Bryan Frosh could not be bothered to attend, so we were in luck – – he sent his sister!

She just screeched about gun control just like her brother would have, only in a singsong voice…

    A white Maxine Waters?
