I realized that when watching a You Tube review and the guy showed the box with the acronym on it.
I just pasted in what Optics Planet had - but should have realized the connection. I did order one by the way. Wife does not know it yet, but she is getting it for me for Christmas.

LA Police gear is crack.
They could've given me one for free and still made money on all the other stuff I've purchased since then. I'm a sucker for their sales. I find myself shopping for stuff I had no idea I wanted.

Bullets.com has the Aimpoint PRO for $345 plus $9 shipping. I just back-ordered one. I use their grizzly.com site for woodworking, and Grizzly just included a flyer for their new branch, bullets.com. Best price I've seen yet. I was also considering an Eotech XPS2-0, for the open, non-tube access but am going for the Aimpoint for battery life, after getting some good advice on MDS.
