Several armed robberies, burglaries reported in Annapolis

The first burglary was reported late Friday night in the unit block of Windwhisper Lane, where the victim told police that someone had burglarized a home there and taken three rifles, a handgun, 1,800 rounds of ammunition and an underwater camera. Officials said there was no sign of forced entry at the home.

Sounds a little fishy ...

There were 4 armed robberies within half a mile of each other this weekend. Do not understand how this could happen in the liberal bastion of Annapolis.

I don't think you have a clue about Annapolis. (District 30) Sen. Adele, Del .George and Del. McMillian all voted against SB281. Only that douche nozzle Busch voted for it.

That's a problem all over Annapolis though.Every nice area is only a block away from bad places;Admiral Heights has Bowman Ct.,Church Circle has Clay St.,Eastport has any street named after a President,etc.

Around 2 a.m. Saturday, police were called to the 400 block of Hilltop Lane for reports of an armed robbery. Once there, the victim told police that he was hit in the head by one of two men while he was walking home and that one of the men had a handgun, pointed it at him and demanded his cellphone and money.

The victim said he gave the robber his phone, as well as a backpack that had two other cellphones, money and a black Dell laptop. Officials said the victim didn't report the robbery until the next morning.

Sounds like one robber robbed another robber.

I grew up around the corner from Windwhisper lane and that area was nice back in the 90's. Annapolis was always an odd place to me since you have million dollar homes a street over from the projects. Made high school an interesting social experiment that has only gotten worse over the years from what I hear.
