Here's a good read on the AN-94. It explains how they get the thing to feed from the mag while the action is recoiling backwards.

I can dream.

Even just an issue Russian rifle with an integrated rear peep would be really, really useful.

But: if you miss the first shot, you will still miss the second. Controlled recoil is really cool tech but I wonder how much of a practical difference it would actually make. Either you can hit what you are aiming for under stress, or you can't.
