Boonie Hat payment info

Cool. I am not a "boonie" hat kind of guy. Normally a baseball cap or western hat when the sun is too hot. But, I work outside all day, got a nasty sunburn today, and my favorite WV hat went flying down RT 1 when a gust of wind hit me with no doors/top on my Jeep while going back to the office :sad20:

I loved that hat

Enough rambling. I need a new hat for work, and maybe this will keep my poor head from turning into a flaming cherry

ive turned around and played chicken with traffic on the highway for a prized hat, but some you just have to let go because they are unreachable :sad53:

I thought about it... I really did... I picked this particular hat up in WV, at the little gas station/convenience store right near our family farm. It's the only store around without driving in to the nearest town about 20 miles away. I picked it up the weekend I was up there for my grandmothers funeral 2 years back. This gas station is also about 2 miles from our family cemetery. Unfortunately, the hat let loose about 75 yards past Three 9's, going towards 175 on RT1. It landed right in the turn lane, touching the line for the passing lane going towards 100. It happened at 4:45, right in the middle of rush hour traffic on RT 1. It was by far my favorite hat, and I really thought hard about playing chicken with the rush hour traffic on RT1 (along with all the 18 wheelers going to the truck stop), but common sense prevailed. I picked up 2 other hats from that store the same day, so it's not a huge deal, but it will be sorely missed

I still have my Molon Labe hat for general wearing, but I need something to keep my face safe in summer while working outside all day. Hopefully you have an extra boonie laying around to fill the void when this is all said and done :party29:

Otherwise we'll just have to get a second one going!

the design is in. they have my card #, supposed to be getting me a stitch up for final approval then 12-15 days to produce. Then they come to me i will have days for pick-ups then mail out to those that live farther away

Its their photo taken minutes after the first official prototype was done. They are moving into production now. They say 12-15 days but I'd expect them to ship them sometime next week hopefully.
