This is where Science vs. Truth. Science seeks repeatable observations that support a hypothesis such as more guns = more violence. But these observations are often contained by a variety of assumptions and externalities that make them overly narrow and capture externalities. Its hard to filter those out in the real world.

Truth has broader implications and requires observational and conceptual thought. Usually well beyond the liberal (reactive) mind.

The "research" was mostly based on some lone researcher's "impressions" she got from interviews done in Texas. If it were any other subject that kind of work would be laughed right out of the journal editor's office. But buckle down because this is the kind of biased assault on our reputations all gun owners are going to have endure in the coming years. We've only seen the tip of the iceberg of how low they want to make the general population to regard us, methinks.

HAHA Powwow, that smooth face of yours was looking quite dapper in Annapolis the other night. Just in case you hadn't noticed my Santa beard, Gillette has not gotten rich off me for a long time now.

n=1, but my experience, HQL and carry permit classes are the most diverse rooms I've seen.

I've seen this both attending classes for multiple carry permits, as well as seeing people arrive at HQL classes when I am at the range.

Further, the shooting range I go most often is quite the melting pot. It gives me hope.

They know that it's not just "white males" who are gun owners. It's just that white males are the only demographic left that are OK to attack. It'd be a lot harder for them to come out against black, female, Asian, Hispanic, Muslim, gay, etc, etc gun owners.

k31 nails it . people are being "dumbed down " ie . this is what you need to know , ect . and are too either lazy or stupid to think for themselves . scary to think where we as a country are headed.
