we need to get some serious strategy going for MDS support of a candidate if we are going to reclaim the 8th district

Here's an interesting history of the 8th. I know WIKI isn't the most accurate of sources, but I think it gives a good representation as to what's happened over the years. I have to agree with most that the district lines don't seem to be in the best interest of Republicans or Marylanders for that matter. How someone can properly represent those near the DC Beltway and others in Emmittsburg is beyond my comprehension.

Why not play up Raskin's McCarthyesque approach to civil rights and the Terrorist Watch List? The fact that 2A and guns were involved is secondary. Even the ACLU opposed it.

These folks need a healthy dose of political retribution. If it sinks him and somebody else gets the seat because of it, maybe they'll be more respectful of people's rights.
