Ran across a a few 91/30 run of the mill round receiver 1943 dated rifles . Still slightly cosmolined for $600 each. Holy moly.
Did not bother asking the price of the unissued in the crate Yugo 59s. He has a few M44s also. I have some of each to sell of my own. I'm in shock at the prices.

Long gone are the days of crates and tables stacked high of 91/30's and sks rifles for $99 at gun shows, for a little while I thought those days would never end. Wish I would've gotten more of them!

Holy crap $600. I paid 79 with my C&R for one. I sold it a few years ago. I should have held onto it.

When people/stores have things they don't really want/need to get rid of, they will post high prices. Some places price EVERYTHING high waiting for someone who is money drunk to buy it.

"how much for this gun?" "$600, It is from WWII". "$600 for a WWII gun? no way, i'll buy it".

Ask $600 take $400. What shop was asking $600? Was everything else $100 above MSRP?
Purcell's Custom Gunsmithing in Orange VA. Thought $600 was about 300 or more to much. Fresh from crate minus most of the Cosmo. He's selling off another closed gun shops inventory. Full crate of Yugo 59/66s for $10k. Ned sells a lot on GunBroker and consignment. He has lots of ammo at top dollar.

I have some of the Century X code 91/30s that are still in the cosmoline. X was Century’s highest rating for excellent. The day they’re worth $600 they’re gone!
