I've wanted a Bushcraft-style fixed blade for a while. Even if I never get it out of the backyard, it seems practical.
MD Shooters is costly like this.
I found this one on Etsy.
Hand made from 1095 steel. This is a high quality and reliable knife. The design is modeled after a boot knife from the 19th century. This knife is every bit as functional as high dollar survival/bushcraft knives.
Blade material: 1095 high carbon steel
Blade thickness: heavy 1/8 in spine
Grind: hollow
Lanyard hole: yes
Grip material: walnut
Comes with the brown sheath pictured, note the loop for a fire steel/ferro rod.
The blade is one solid piece that runs the length of the knife (full tang).
This knife comes hair popping sharp.
I'm pleased!. $45 plus shipping from a maker in Ohio. (Ignore the dates in the photos.)
