Can I shoot a .22 magnum in a .22 LR gun?

    I had a .22 wmr revolver 8 shot and I could shot .22lr no problem the only thing will happened is .22lr cases expand to the diameter of the chamber which is .22wmr and is a lot bigger, never had cracked case and I shot probably 1000 rnds, now there is no way a 22wmr will even feed in any gun on .22lr because diameter of bullet is bigger than diameter of the 22lr chamber, dont try but even if you do wont go more than 2mm is so...

    It won't chamber and recomend not trying it. Also, reverse is true, don't fire a 22lr in a 22mag. Case on 22lr could rupture as it would not be supported by barrel.
