I think I've been keeping you guys up to speed on the upgrades I've been making to my "Doo-doo Brown" build...but even if I haven't: Here's the optic I'm trying out for it - Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 sitting in mounts from Seekins Precision. With the optic installed, I could make the final adjustments to the Battleline Indsustries SAPR on the stock.

I ordered my set a few weeks ago. Just waiting for the paperwork to come back now. That Fortis rail looks good. Color looks like it matches pretty well. Just picked up one of the new Trijicon SRS' to go on it as well.

Moved my VFG back and added the extension to it.. Much better now. Next to switch colors/removal of the colorfill on the magwell and maybe a couple FDE parts here and there.

Well, Im back in this game again... one freshly completed 14.5 AR to hangout with it younger brother the 15-22

Funny how the M&P is supposed to be a 16" barrel + flashhider, yet is the same OAL as my 14.5 Spikes barrel with the flashhider.
1x7 twist, 14.5", Seekins lower, RGuns upper (gorgeous upper for those interested), WMD Nib trigger assembly and BCG, a few Magpul parts here and there, BADASS levers, KNS Antiroll pins etc etc...

My latest creation. 16" Spikes Tactical barrel, 12" BAR Rail, Trijicon TR24 1-4x, DPMS Titanium Nitride BCG and Titanium Trigger assembly. Rail, Upper and Lower were Cerakoted Armor Black.

It only took me 96 days to get her :rolleye12

but she's finally home where she belongs. She's nothing fancy and has no bells or whistles yet. I'll probably leave it pretty stock except for a scope/site/optic. You'll have to forgive me...I've never messed with any accessories for any of my other firearms except extra mags and speed loaders so I'm not up-to-date on all the technical terms for the accessories yet. Say hello to my Colt M4 Carbine.

Updated shot of my boys. Dont mind the purple hue, its from the fishtank light. The Colt HBAR has its Knight's Rail on finally, it came in the mail today. The "M4" above is done. However the HBAR gets a KAC USMC 600 Meter Micro Sight, and a LaRue LT104 mount for the Nikon this week. Bipod will go back on as well. I cannot WAIT to have it finished. Ive been pussyfooting around with it since I got it in 08. Always had cheap rails and crap on it. No more! Going for the DMR M16 look from the early-mid 2000s.

DAMN FINE looking rifle. You have NO IDEA how amazing that thing would look with the Troy flip up sights instead of the MBUS. It would be a perfect color match for the cerakote.

Knock off aimpoint 3x magnifier which works surprisingly well for being so cheap

My FINALLY almost finished "DMR" clone. Colt HBAR, KAC rail, KAC USMC sight, LaRue SP104 SPR-QD mount, harris bipod etc. All i need now is a trigger (and a bayonet lug)
