Where did you find the PST for that cheap? I'm seeing everywhere at $750.
a lot of manufacturers have a MAP (minimum advertised price) policy. Vortex is one of these.
Vortex also offers LE/mil discount direct from the manufacturer.

Thanks. I'm thinking about something similar in either .300win mag. or .338 Lapua. I already have an A5 stock.

neither have I, and neither had the smith who built it originally...which is why the PTG handle was a gratis item. works like a charm now.
ETA: The PTG handle has the added benefit of threads, so I can put different knobs on as the mood strikes.

Remington 700P - Leupold MK II. Any recommended worth-while upgrades? Possibly a trigger?
the factory trigger can be adjusted to *VERY* nice feel/weight/etc. without much if any money at all. no need for an aftermarket.
