I order a couple thousand Aguila SuperExtra Standard Velocity since it’s the favorite food for my Ruger Precision Rimfire. Got it from Brownells with a free shipping offer. What arrived was Aguila Standard Velocity Solid Point (1135 fps). Reviewed my order to make sure I didn’t fat finger it but the order states SuperExtra.

Are these the same? Packaging looks different but manufacturers change boxes all the time.

Aguila uses the words "Super Extra" on both their standard and high velocity 22LR. No idea why as it confuses things IMO.

The standard velocity product is a 40 grain lead bullet at 1135fps. It is packaged in a white and yellow box, with a blue stripe across the middle.

The high velocity product is a copper washed 40 grain bullet at 1255 fps. It is packaged in a white and yellow box, with a red stripe across the middle.

Thanks for the quick response! I’ll put it in the mix and let it roll.

I like them but the smoke smells different. To me anyway.

I use the standard velocity and the subsonic in most of my 22's. Even works well in my 40 year old 10/22. Very accurate stuff.
