    Hello all,

I m looking to get bird and deer hunting and I would like to buy a shotgun combo that can be used for both. I know it would probably be easier to buy two different guns but I do have limited space in my safe. I prefer Mossberg over Remington if that helps with suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I was gonna wait till this weekend and check out the York show. See if I could get a deal up there. Quick question for you though. I'll send it via a PM.

For hunting, I'd prefer the Remington over the Mossberg. The Mossberg's pump rattles a LOT, the Remington's make very little noise when carrying. I've carried both in the woods, I'll take the R over the M.

That is a mighty fine price for a gun and two barrels.

I picked up several Mossberg shotguns at gun shops way back in the day. Each one took three mules and a running start to open the action.

Then went around and handled several Remington's. Pushed the action release and the action began to open under its own weight. Smooth as butta. SOLD!

I do like the receiver/tang safety that Mossberg shotguns have.

Dicks Sporting Goods has had these on sale off and on. Check around for coupons, many accept Sports Authority coupons.
