    Hi all,

I've got some BPS gift cards burning a hole i my pocket and was thinking about getting one in .22 lr or .22 wmr. Any thoughts or experience w/ this one?

    Thanks in advance!

I have a Ruger American in .270. While not rimfire, I would assume the quality would be the same. I love it. It is a great rifle for the money. Eventually I will get the .22LR American.

I've got the RAR in 22LR. Its a great rimfire rifle. Good price for an accurate little bolt gun.

I also like the fact that it takes all the same mags as the 10/22

I echo the above sentiments. Mine has been a joy to shoot.

    I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my favorite .22 bolt-action rifle: CZ-452.

I kind of wish I hadn't opened this thread because now I'm trying to find one in stock and before this thread I didn't even know they existed. So who stocks these locally?

I know for a fact that Gun Connection in White Marsh has 2.

And they are distributor exclusives. Look up Ruger American Rimfire 8334

I bought the 22lr compact for my son and it's a great little rifle.

All I had to do was one slight bump on the rear sight and it was good to go. Very nice action and trigger. Great quality.

I don't even mind shooting it with the compact stock insert.

10/22 mags, 2 different barrel lengths multiple stock inserts for LOP and cheek weld.

It was calling my name before too but it's super hard to locate from lots of distributors.

I would have taken the Ruger American Ranch in 5.56 too but that's no where to be seen either.

Add me to the list looking for either of those. I'm thinking by the time they are widely available I'll have bought something else.
