My M&P .45C is one of my favorite carry guns. In fact it is what I'm carring today. The DAO function is misleading. It does not have a long pull and with a 6.5 lb trigger pull it is easy to confuse it with a SA/DA weapon. Once I got the trigger broke in, it is real crisp and smooth. It only carries 8+1 double stack but any more would cause the handle to print. Overall it is a nice carry gun.

I have a Kimber 1911 Ultra in 45 ACP which has a slightly extended mag to hold 8 rounds. If I need more than that I am in the wrong place! It fits perfectlly in my front jeans pocket. Easy to control the recoil. :D

Original "compact" pistol - Colt Officer's Model. 6+1 or 7+1 depending on the mags.

If you need over 6 rounds then you're not in a gunfight, you're in a war. Not hard to carry a spare mag just in case for the when the SHTF.
