Am I overlooking somthing ? Unless you are riding thru the 'hood in west Baltimore or SE DC , is there really much need for GSW treatments for bicycling ?

    Stuff happens.

The same could be said for having a first aid kit or even a fire extinguisher in the first place.

But when it is needed, it is definitely needed.

The point is, uncontrolled severe bleeding will kill you. The minor injuries won't. Focus on your kit accordingly.

Look at what activities you would need to fix. For camping with scouts a small butt pack held most of what I needed even strapped it to the headrest of my jeep. Bike riding - scraps, road rash from a spill. Mayeb a busted limb or 2.

So various size band aids, couple bandanas for makeshift splints, pressure bandages. Why buy when can source.
