A handgun manufactured on or after January 1, 1985, must be listed by manufacturer, model, and caliber on the Maryland Handgun Roster in order to be transferred to a Maryland resident. The current Roster is available on line, and the functionality of the web-based version has been improved within the past couple of years.
In addition, however, the law requires publication of the complete Roster periodically (in the Maryland Register).
I have attached the most recent such compilation, which contains the Roster current as of July 1, 2017, in the PDF format (134 pages). I find that these PDF versions of the Roster are handy to work with for certain purposes -- for example, if you want to email or fax specific pages to a dealer, carry a copy on a smart phone, etc.
Keep in mind, however, that the attached document is current only through July 1, 2017. For later additions or revisions, you have to watch the Maryland Register, and/or the Maryland Handgun Roster website.
