If gas prices stay high and inflation increases then they will be fighting each other for dwindling drug purchases and some will become desperate enough to start robbing more people getting killed or killing in the process. If that happens, then I say 300.

Actually, you are wrong, this is the current 2nd amendment:

"A well-regulated ~~militia~~ national guard/police force, ~~being~~ no longer necessary to the security of a ~~free state~~ [no longer a problem], the ~~right~~ privilege at government discretion of the people except poor, minorities & residents of public housing, New York City, Washington, D.C., etc. to keep and bear arms except hand arms, cheap arms, ugly arms, self-loading arms & military looking arms, shall not be infringed after waiting 24 hrs for government/police approval."

That is the current interpretation. Please refer to this when referring to the current 2nd amendment!

It is sad we let it go this far!

The Brady Camp is already anticipating a pro-2nd decision, but how far it goes remains to be seen.
