I wonder if they'll sell the stock as a spare part. The earlier box magazines for the .300 Blackout weren't so great.

Id definitely lean towards the American. I have the Mossberg, like the gun but Ruger is definitely better quality.

The 5-rd capacity flush fit, rotary mags work fine in my Ruger American Ranch in 300 BLK, but they run $25-30/each. As long as the AR mags feed fine, it'll be a cost savings. If ever carrying a RAR with loaded mag slung across one's back, the lack of protrusion from the flush fit mag is nice given where the sling points are.

The stock magazines that came with my ruger american .308 are garbage. I've already broken 2 at the latch. Ruger replaced both, and I learned to only seat a magazine on an open bolt, but I'm definitely not happy. Hopefully there's an easy, cheap replacement before next season.

This is a nice development. Anytime you can stock fewer types of magazines, that's a win. Of course, now Magpul needs to come up with a new stock that can take AR mags.

Interested, but never pulled the trigger on an MVP.

Think I might get one of these though. Either would make a good platform for all those low-cap mags I got stuck with during the dark decade following passage of the Federal AWB, aka, the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act.

There is the same gun with Vortex scope installed, as well...

I'd rather have the flush-mount 300 black ranch rifle.

The new modular stocks can be modified back to use the standard rotary mags.

That’s the great thing about these stocks, you can use any of the three mag well inserts with the new guns. Want to load super long OAL 223? Cool, get the AR mag rifle and the AI insert to use AICS mags.

I'm looking hard at the one chambered in 7.62x39... takes mini-30 mags... also has a threaded barrel which means I'll have to put in another form 4 :-)

Gary at High Rock had one a while back. If it took AK mags I would have been all over it, i really dont want to stock Another mag though.
