I am building my second glock from a polymer 80 lower. First one i did was a compact frame and finished it into a glock 19.

This time I am doing a full size frame and am going to make it a glock 22.

I am looking at lower parts kits and midwayusa has a glock 17 lower parts kit right now for $45. Everywhere else sells them between $80-$90. They dont have a glock 22 lower parts kit, and the only sites i can find them also sell the 22s for $80-$90.

Is the only difference between the 17 and the 22 the ejector on the trigger housing?

Can i buy this (https://www.midwayusa.com/product/974065/glock-frame-parts-kit-glock-17-9mm-luger) for $45, and swap out the trigger housing with this (https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1...using-with-ejector-glock-22-23-27-31-32-33-35) for $8 and essentially have a glock 22 lower parts kit for $53?

    Will that work?

Also need the proper takedown lever spring. The full-size 17 spring will not work in a 19/22/32 size frame. BTDT.

You can get that from Numrich for a few bucks.

I thought 17 and 22 were same frame size

    Glock 17, 17L, 22, 24, 31, 34, 35, 37 = same frame. Glock 19, 23, 25, 32, 38 = same frame (sourced from internet)

If it hasn't been mentioned....the extractor depressor (small tip of plastic at the top of the extractor depressor plunger) is different for 9mm and 40....

My mistake then, I had a brain-fart and got 22 and 23 mixed up.

You are correct, for the lower kit you posted you just change the "Glock Trigger Housing with Ejector" from 9mm to 40
