    Left handed so need the shell deflector.

    My preference is the a2 upper. It makes me feel like I might be starting to get old when I prefer the a2 iron sights as opposed to the magpul bolt on folding things that everyone seems to prefer now a days.

    I tell you what though, all of my friends always have me zero their iron sighs for them because so many now a days never truly learned how to shoot with iron sights.

    Man, that one brings back some memories. Somehow managed to qualify 'Expert' in Basic at Ft. Sill and AIT at Ft. Benning with an M16A1 and then I didn't get another one after that.

    The 'new' guys liked the A1's and the 'old' guys appreciated the improvements over the original M16 but, 9 out of 10 still would've preferred the M14 if given the choice. Now you just need an M203 to go under it! :D
