Anyone out there recommend a barrel threading location? I called Scott's in Glen Bernie and was told it would be 5-6 months to complete because of back log.

i just bought a cz452 and cz recommended these guys for any gunsmith work. i had it sent directly from the seller to triple river and they said something like 2 week turnaround for threading. having them shorten and re-crown the barrel also, and why not, a trigger job. something like $60 for each of these which seems pretty reasonable. haven't gotten it back yet so can't speak as to their quality (or sticking to their time estimate), but again cz recommended them.

John at Duffy's does good work also.

He threaded a Ruger 22/45 for me.

But for pure speed, you need to send it out.
